Amina

I will never get sick of hearing the word Amina as a Ugandan is just ending a prayer to trust Christ as their Savior. We've seen so many people come to faith in Christ since we began house to house evangelism on Monday. And everytime I lead someone in prayer to trust Christ I get tingles down my spine as they amina in a soft, sincere voice.

Being in Uganda has been the biggest blessing. The believers here have been such a huge encouragement to me. I try to encourage them by telling them about my car accident and all that God has done in my life to bring me back to Uganda once again. They encourage me by telling me that maybe the reason God kept me alive was just so that I could come to see them once again. my translater said to me "If for no other reason, God has kept you alive just so that I can be your translater once again, I have prayed that you would come back" and Bruce if read this- that same translater is praying for you- along with EVERY translator, and every church plant. They believe God will allow for you to come back once again. Bruce, The church in Uganda loves you! Amina.

Praise the Lord team members are all well again. Went through some upset stomachs for various reasons. Ready to minister at Angalia and Namunyu per plan. Working on better computer set up so we can send some pics and more info faster. Jim

Dedication Sunday at RMBC - Sunday, May 30, 2010

RMBC Pastor Bruce Miles prays a prayer of dedication for team members from RMBC.
Taylor Vanduinen, Becca Willett, Keesha Sedgwick and Kayla Dick left Thursday for their 6-week time in Uganda. Pray for their first week there with the Karamojong tribe in Mblae with the Cypress Creek Church from Texas. They will join up with the rest of our team on Friday, June 2, and then will stay an additional four weeks when we return to the U.S.
Praying for each of you this day,
JIM

Departure day just over two weeks away!

Our team verse: “SO THEN NEITHER THE ONE WHO PLANTS NOR THE ONE WHO WATERS IS ANYTHING, BUT GOD WHO CAUSES THE GROWTH.” 1 COR. 3:7

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow! We learn this morning that our trip is now totally funded!

From Jim Ross; "God has given us His team; it is one with unique skills and talents we have never had before, one in which many had financial needs, one in which some members struggled with their decision on whether or not to go due to finances but were faithful to answer His call and then rely on the One in charge to supply the funding. This should demonstrate to all of us once again our GOD is in charge and can meet all our needs, our job, remain faithful and obedient."

Thank you for praying with us and being part of our team while at home. Here's the list of team members departing June 2, 2010:
